"Fearless, Faultless, Faith" ~ Tom Milam

November 13 ~ "He Leadeth Me" ~ Daily Devotional by Tom Milam

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.  Galatians 2:20

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  Hebrews 11:6

Our experiences are nothing without complete devotion to Jesus Christ.  Who do we think that we are? We say that we trust God and then whimper at His call to go and intercede for someone in desperate need.  We won't go out to someone because we are to busy trying to impress others with a selfish faith of saying; "I can't go but I'll pray that someone else will."  It is His faith that we trust in, His justification, His sanctification; it's what He has done that we must stand upon; there is nothing that we can claim in our own selves.  He is our wisdom, knowledge and for sure our redemption.

After what He has done, in delivering us from hell and separation from God, our sacrifices are very small. God help us to get off of this selfishness that God can't make it without us.  Our faith must go beyond just the study of God's Word, meeting at the church services and gathering to say the need is so great for our community.  We must move in full abandonment to Christ with confidence that He will work through us.  Will you go to another in fearless, faultless, faith and try to get the them to God? Or will we sit idly by while they drop off into an eternal Hell?

"Will We"
Will we sit back and say;
Someone needs to go today.
Will we say it year after year,
and watch them die, that are dear.
Belief will cast out all fear and doubt
Then we'll go to them that are without.
