“The power of humiliation”
Mark 9:22

With every mountain top experience, there is shortly a valley to go through. We must remember that we have just come through a valley to get to the mountain, and so when we leave the mountain we will just as surely enter another valley. It is in the valleys that we get our education, because we cannot comprehend the Glory of God there. His Glory is easy to see when we are carried away up high with Him, and we can shout hallelujah, praise God and Glory to His name. But we can’t see it when we are experiences the humiliation of the everyday commonplace life. But, that is where our true character and worth is revealed. Our faith is tested in our personal relationship to Him while in the valley, not on the mountain.
We get our visions on the mountains, but the explanation comes in the valley. Humility will change our skeptical attitude for the good. When we learn who Jesus is, and what He can mean to us, we will get rid of our bad attitudes. On the mountain we are willing to fight anything, but in the valley is where we find out who our enemy is.
“The Power”
While on the mountain of high hallelujahs,
You feel the power that will move you.
But while in the valley of harrowed humility,
You must trust Gods power to renew you.
