“Today Is Tomorrows Yesterday”

Last years things are gone. We can’t reclaim them, undo them or even wish they hadn’t happened; they did and we must move on. Some of the things that happened were bad. Some were good and even some mysteries remain; We are to let it be. Let’s focus on where God has brought us from and where we could have been had it not been for Jesus. Let’s concentrate on the now and what we can give to the Lord and our fellowman. Then we can wrap it all up in the promises of Gods future for us, as we yield to His plan for our present and future ministry.
The Lord is always before us; Yes, we might have failed in the past but we can’t live in the past and allow it to rob us of our present and future worth for Christ. We must even press forward realizing that in Him do we move and live and have our being; it is more blessed to “be” than it is to “do”.
Let’s look into the new year with gladness and delight, anticipating great opportunities to do more for Jesus’ sake. We can go forward in remembrance of the last years failures saying, I might have failed many times, but I’m not altogether a total failure, because I’ve learned not to repeat the past failures and I’ve gained ground in knowledge and have not fallen back. I should let it sleep right there.
“Being”
Jesus covers, what is and What will be;
What was, cannot return,
So it means nothing more to me.
